Zza's has such a great selection of homemade dishes. It is so good. I think they make all of their sausages and bread in house. They have a great way of creating traditional Italian foods and also newer, more California-ish takes on those. In the summer time they throw lots of corn into their pastas and in the winter they use beans. Their appetizer mussels kick ass as does every thing else I've ever had there. It's a great atmosphere with an open kitchen and paper to draw on on the tables. A fantasitic light-up light behind the kitchen is fun and the whole restaurant has been known to sing "Happy Birthday" together. (
