You cannot get the whole experience if you dont take time to visit the whole building. The restaurant is in fact most of the block and you go from room to private room, to dinner room, to ball room. Walls are covered with pictures, pages of news paper, and photos. It displays much of North Beach history, including earthquakes.<p>Great for private parties. they close the door, and you are just like as home in your formal dining room.<br>Great for sunday brunch. You would sit in the first room, which is the bar too. Nice tables close to the window that gives a nice view to Washington Square.<p>Bring your half for a romantic brunch, or bring your friends for a entertaining evening!<p>And Food? I dont remember anything special - that means that you get exactly what you ordered for: good food.
