Been here 10+ times - always very good authentic food, good service, and simple decor. All the basics are good and the specials, like the salt and peppper crab, can be great.

I finally tried this restaurant after lured by the heavy advertisement on the newspapers and tour book. Well, it definitely has the atmosphere for those who enjoy the ambiance more than the food. Food is average but the prices are definitely for the 1st time visitors to SF (too expensive!).

Food is good and the decor is minimum at the downstairs part of this restaruant. However, service at this part of the restaurant is tempermental. We have dined here several times & received passable service. However, our latest visit rendered a negative review for their service. Servers were attentive although a bit brusque. They keep insisting that we ordered this particular dish even though we did not. And finally, when they checked their computer system, they realized their kitchen made the mistake, but they did not bother to apologize.
