A reservation was made and we arrived on time. However, there was no table reserved for us and we had to wait until some patrons left and a table prepared for us. The tables are small and somewhat crowded if you want to share several plates with your guest. A suggestion to bring over a small table to add to our space was ignored. Service was adequate. The food was good however, we had driven approximately 50 miles to try this place and our departing decision was that it was really not worth the drive. We tried a combination sample platter, which had several excellent choices on it. We then shared several different orders to compare to other establishments that we frequent and the food was no better or no worse than the places we go to locally.

It's nice to know that deep in the heart of Noe Valley there's a Chinese restaurant you can turn to on a moment's notice and find some pretty tasty vidials. The avocado rolls are a yummy (if not caloric) way to start. You can't go wrong with the hot and sour soup either. The sesame beef and the spicy eggplant entrees never fail to please. Though the wait can sometimes suck, you can always order your meal to go.
