This is the best inexpensive Chinese restaurant I've been to in San Francisco. It's not quite as cheap as the "all you can eat for $4.95" buffet, but trust me, an extra few bucks are well worth it - your palate and stomach will thank you. <p>The food at Dragon Well is excellent. The ingredients are high quality and the dishes are very low-grease. You will not find any neon pink sweet and sour here (thank heavens!), but they do serve fairly traditional dishes. Within its price category, it definitely deserves the full 5 stars.<p>I eat at this restaurant about once a week, and I have yet to tire of it. The decor is nice and spare, not that red uber-Chinese kitsch you find elsewhere. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. My favorite dishes on their menu are: potstickers, beef chow fun, tea-smoked duck, wok-tossed prawns, and walnut prawns.
